So take this night.

Wrap it around me,

like a sheet.

I know I’m not forgiven,

but I need a place to sleep.

Before you forgot me,

before the ending.

but I hope that I’ll

be given some peace.

So take this night.

let you pain pour inside of me

Drown in your screams:

Muffled, distorted,

until there is nothing to scream

about anymore in your sleep.

Dream of you,

dream of me,

dream of us

and what should be.

Let me in,

let me be,

the one who comes for you

in your darkest hour of need.
