Did you realize no one could see inside your views?
Did you realize just when the sun belonged to you?

I don’t want to hurt you…
but the reasons are plenty here.
'Cause we all know
that you’ve been guilty;
and I‘m starting to get scared of me.

We gotta try a little harder.
We gotta try a little stronger.
We gotta try a little deeper.

Let this sink in.
It could be sweet,
like a long forgotten dream.

It's time you know that
we don’t need them.
'cause I don’t wanna lose;
what we had last time
before you were leaving.

We don’t get something for nothing.
When will you try a little harder?
We could be sweeter than yesterday.
