National Writing Poetry Month- For Friday April 25, 2014
Sloppy Seconds
He licks his little paws,
He’s like a fly too,
He’s ready to lie and lie and lie some more.
His voice tone has changed
Lower and lower and lower again.
What a denigrator.
What a desecrator.
What a farce.
He’s been praised by fools,
far too many times
It’s a shame to be praised by fools!
Yet, he doesn’t even know it.
It’s a shame to be praised by fools!
And he loves it.
Such a liar he is,
and a buffoon at best.
What a joke he is,
and he doesn’t even know it yet.
He is oblivious to his true nature.
