Male impotence, a choice? An interview

After reading my article on male impotence, one of my readers pointed out that men sometimes become impotent after realizing they do not want to fornicate with the woman they have next to them. This is a transcript of our conversation:
Mr. P. said: "Sometimes, we like the women until they take their clothes off, or do something that turns men off, but once you are there, you can not turn away, you have to perform, and the stress is horrible, 'cause we don't want women to think we are useless in bed, and we want to get things done as quickly as possible, and get out of there and never come back, that is why we never call them again..."

Interviewer asked him: "if you do not like her then why get to that point, the point of no return..."

Mr. P.: "In the beginning i did liked her, until i saw her naked, that threw me off, she was like the blob, so i had no choice but to do it, but in my head i was disgusted, i have never been with women like that, though she was good doing stuff, i just could not get pass the fat, on the other hand, i have been with skinny good looking women, that can also throw me off, those skinny ones have poor hygiene, or they think that just 'cause their skinny they don't have to do anything at all, at all, i mean they lie in bed and i have to kinda worship them, for what? So that is a turn off too!"

In conclusion: I have identified several topics here that can be discussed later, it seems that from Mr. P.'s point of view, there are many factors that contribute in men being impotent, especially if they are young.

We will be back with more of this interview, stay tuned.

Male Impotence

 What is Male Impotence?

Impotence is the male's inability to copulate or get an erection.
Can a man have an erection and be impotent?
Yes, absolutely.
Men and women think that just because the penis is erect there is no impotence there. When men have an erection without ejaculation, that means they are not having an orgasm, ultimately resulting in men FAKING orgasms. Yes, men do fake their orgasms quite a lot. They often masquerade it as saying and demonstrating that they do not ejaculate prematurely, or having long lasting intercourse.

How long should normal, healthy intercourse should last?

Normally a man can achieve orgasm within 2 to 4 minutes of active thrusting during sexual intercourse.

A man with delayed ejaculation either does not have orgasms at all or cannot have an orgasm until after prolonged intercourse which might last for 30–45 minutes or more.

This is known as Male Orgasmic Disorder (formerly known as Inhibited Male Orgasm).

Male Orgasmic Disorder is a persistent or recurrent delay in, or absence of, orgasm following a normal sexual excitement phase during sexual activity that the clinician, taking into account the person's age, judging to be adequate in focus, intensity, and duration. The disturbance causes marked distress or interpersonal difficulty. The Orgasmic Dysfunction is not better accounted for by another Axis I disorder (except another Sexual Dysfunction) and is not due exclusively to the direct physiological effects of a substance (e.g., a drug of abuse, a medication) or a general medical condition (A.P.A.,2011).

Take in consideration the following:

If the sexual dysfunction has been present since the onset of sexual functioning (Organic or biological causes) then the male orgasmic disorder is classified as a Life long type of disorder. That means you need to see a specialist (clinical sexologist), that will help you.

If the sexual dysfunction develops only after a period of normal functioning (psychological or physical causes), then the male orgasmic disorder is and acquired type of disorder. This means that you need to see a therapist (clinical sexologist) for a solution to the momentary dilemma.

The context in which these sexual dysfunctions occur are:

In a Generalized type, where the sexual dysfunction is not limited to certain types of stimulation, situations, or partners.
A man can have an erection and not ejaculate during sexual encounters; leaving ignorant women with the idea that he is not a premature ejaculator, that he has stamina, that he lasts. Yet few women really notice that not being able to ejaculate is actually frustrating for men.

In a situational type, the sexual dysfunction is limited to certain types of stimulation, situations, or partners. Although in most instances the dysfunctions occur during sexual activity with a partner, in some cases it may be appropriate to identify dysfunctions that occur during masturbation.

Etiological factors:

Sexual dysfunction due to Psychological factors: When psychological factors are judged to have the major role in the onset, severity, exacerbation, or maintenance of the sexual dysfunction, and general medical conditions and substances play no role in the etiology of the sexual dysfunction.

The role of combined factors:

We take combined factors in consideration when psychological factors are judged to have a role in the onset, severity, exacerbation, or maintenance of the sexual dysfunction; and a general medical condition or substance use is also judged to be contributory but is not sufficient to account for the sexual dysfunction. If a general medical condition or substance use (including medication side effects) is sufficient to account for the sexual dysfunction, sexual dysfunction due to a general medical condition and/or substance-induced, then sexual dysfunction is diagnosed.
Questions for you:
How long have you lasted with an erection without ejaculating? Having sexual intercourse is exciting, therefore the normal physiological response is to ejaculate after thrusting for a normal amount of time.

Do you consider thrusting on a woman's vagina for 30 minutes or more to be normal intercourse? Reality is that women do want the thrill of the penetration to last a bit longer, yet being thrusted for more time than it should be is annoying. Women want to have sexual intercourse more than once and they also want to see men having an orgasm.

How to change?

DO not masturbate as often as you do!
Masturbation leads to sexual dysfunctions, for once you get accustomed to the technique, you won't be able to achieve an orgasm with a woman the same way as you do when masturbating.

You are not a sex robot!

No one expects you to be penetrating for more that the normal time permits you. That means, if you start the penetration and after the normal amount of time you feel like achieving your orgasm, just do it!

Foreplay...
If you know what you like, then have your partner do it: massages, oral stimulation, visual stimulation, role playing; all those activities have this in common: a relationship.

Having a relationship is important!
An interpersonal relationship is an association between two or more people that may range from fleeting to enduring.
You do not need a formal romantic relationship, all you need is someone with whom you can do this things freely, without having pressures or feeling judged upon.

Relax...

Do not stress out about life too much, life is short, so fuck hard, and come fast, for tomorrow's cum might never cum.
